Can I book the WSSI Assessment with Shannon Rail Services?
You or your Sponsor are free to book your WSSI training directly with Shannon Rail Services (as a London Underground accredited training provider)
You can book the LU-WSSI course yourself, but your Primarary Sponsor must approve the booking prior to atending the LU-WSI Final Assessment.
Competence Awarded: Worksite Safety and Security Induction (WSSI) is awarded as ICI & ICI LU on your Sentinel Profile – Valid for 5-6 years

The learner must complete The Shannon Rail Services LU-WSSI Pre-assessment Elearning prior to attending the Final LU-WSSI Assessments in advance at their own pace using the acces link provided directly to the learner.
Note: The LU-WSSI Pre-assessment Elearning is Free to any one with a valid Sentinel Number and and eMail address, Just email training@shannonrail.co uk and request access. The LU-WSSI Pre-assessment Elearning can be completed on a PC, Tablet or Mobile Phone.

Corse Overview
The London Underground Worksite Safety and Security Induction (WSSI) is the first course you need to take to work on LU and is a prerequisite to work on the London Underground (LU) infrastructure/premises.
The WSSI enables you to access the London Underground infrastructure to carry out your duties. In addition, this training focuses on the safety requirements to keep you and those around you safe whilst working on London Underground premises.
Key aspects of the training include:
Health and safety on the line
Fatigue management
Knowledge of work locations
Understanding the various roles and responsibilities of those around you
Signing in and out of London Underground
Operational security awareness
Understanding worksite hazards and fire prevention
Information on asbestos on London Underground infrastructure and what to do if you accidentally disturb asbestos
Using a lift, escalator, or moving walkway
Working at height and lifting equipment
Exclusion zones
About the Worksite Safety Induction (WSI)
London Underground requires anyone working on their infrastructure to have the necessary understanding of health, safety and environmental issues that might affect them at work.
