Live Line Tester (LLT) and Proving Unit (PH3-LLT)

Shannon Rail Services in partnership with Instrotech a Fully Seaward Authorised Seaward Service Centre, offer a Seaward/Network Rail Approved Annual (LLT and PH3-LLT) calibration/service. 100% complying with Network Rail’s specific instructions for the Seaward Live Line Tester (LLT) and Proving Unit  (PH3-LLTB):

  • LLT Tester AND PH3-LLT Proving Unit (both items as a system) for £59.00 ex VAT each.
  • LLT Tester OR PH3-LLT Proving Unit (each item individually) for £37.00 ex VAT each.

This will include testing, inspection, calibration certificate (with report), and batteries (where required) all carried out onsite at Shannon Rail, Watford, WD17 1PG.

The Seaward live line tester (LLT) is a voltage detector ideal for live line testing on Conductor Rail Electric (CRE) systems up to 1100V DC, and is encapsulated in a high impact rugged enclosure with high-visibility cable. The unit is fitted with high-intensity red LED indicators and a polarizing filter making it clearly visible, even in direct sunlight.

Designed specifically for Railway live line applications, the LLT high voltage indicator ensures conductor rails have been isolated from the power supply before maintenance or inspection work commences on rail track systems.

The Seaward Live Line Tester (LLT) and Proving Unit (PH3-LLT) are approved by NetworkRail – Certificate of Acceptance No. PA05/03345.
